The Genesis was held this weekend at Revelation Raceway, and rising to the top of the Pro Buggy class was none other than VP-Pro USA driver Andrew Smolnick. A great face in the sport of RC racing, Andrew was long overdue for a win and a commanding one it was from start to finish of the half hour A main. Following close was Associated driver Mike Acero and VP-Pro driver Kaulin Hall with a Losi bringing home the brass in third. Smolnik, Acero, and Hall broke away from the crowd and put on a driving display. The closest drivers were over a minute behind, a great race for all and a challenging layout made for some great racing, with a massive triple in the middle of the track claiming motors, servos and chassis all day. As a honorable mention Rich Niccum ran a flawless race in the open class leading the whole way in the 20 minute main. A great track, good food and prizes raffled off all day made it a great time had by all and a nice kick off to the Memorial weekend.
