Tire Compounds by VP Pro USA
Tire compounds are an extremely important variable when deciding which tire to choose. A general rule of thumb is that a harder tire will provide longer tire life with less traction, while a softer tire will provide more traction with a shorter tire life.
The track condition is yet another extremely important variable when deciding which tire to use. Here a general rule of thumb would be to use larger pin tires on tracks with more loam and smaller pin tires on tracks that are hard packed with less loam.
Low Flexx: Low Flexx Compound is our medium-soft compound that will provide less pin Flexx which deters the pin from folding over. This compound works best on very dry hard packed tracks with minimal dust, or very soft loamy dirt. The Low Flexx compound has the longest tire life and is recommended for bashing or long A-main events.
Medium Flexx: Medium Flexx Compound is our most popular compound which works on nearly all off-road racing surfaces. The medium Flexx compound is a soft compound which was designed to provide maximum traction without compromising early tire wear. The medium Flexx compound will feel much softer than most “medium” labeled compound tires produced by other companies, but will last much longer.
Ultra Flexx: The Ultra Flexx Compound is our ultra-soft compound which provides maximum traction on nearly all off-road surfaces, especially hard packed surfaces dry, dusty, or damp. Ultra Flexx Compound is our softest compound tire and works great in bumpy conditions as the Ultra Flexx pins will not catch the ruts under impact. Most Pro racers use the Ultra Flexx compounds during qualifying runs for maximum performance.

Turbo Trax
Turbo Trax: The Turbo Trax tire works extremely well on hard pack dry or wet tracks. The Turbo Trax is the tire of choice by many top pro drivers world wide when racing on hard packed off-road surfaces dry, damp or dusty. The Turbo Trax tire has been proven to be extremely fast and generally will provide the fastest lap times under most conditions.

Axman
Axman: The Axman tire is the ultimate all around traction tire as the pin design is extremely flexible and is very effective in providing grip on tracks with little to no traction. The Axman works extremely well on all wet or dusty tracks and work very well in bumpy conditions as the pins do not catch ruts.

Condor
Condor: The Condor is our dual stage step up pin design. This unique tread pattern is spaced out more then most other similar tires which provides proper sand flow and allows the pins to dig in the dirt on very dusty and very wet loamy tracks much better. The Condor is the "goto tire" on tracks with bumps, ruts, and uneven surfaces; proving amazing all around steering & traction.

Bull Dog
Bull Dog: The Bull Dog is our large pin Moto-cross style tire. The large lugs dig into loose loamy dirt & sand and also work extremely well on very hard packed/abrasive tracks where tire wear is a problem. The Bull Dog is the tire of choice for those long 60 minute A-main events when nothing else will last and perfect for bashing in the field.

Gripz - NEW
Gripz Evo: The Gripz is our dual stage medium pin style tire. The 2 levels of pins provides maximum traction on all surfaces, especially on uneven surfaces. The small top pin provides traction on dusty & hard packed dirt, as well as soft loamy dirt. The lower tri-pod shaped pins provide traction and stability on hard packed dirt. The bi-level pin design also provides a long lasting tread life for those long A-main events. The Gripz has the most traction of all of our tires and works best on tracks where traction is very minimal.

Blades
Blades Evo: The Blades is our Triple tier small pin style tire. The 3 levels of pins provides maximum corner speed with great traction on all surfaces, especially on uneven surfaces. The small top pin provides traction on dusty & hard packed dirt, as well as soft loamy dirt. The 2nd level pins provide traction and stability on hard packed dirt. The lower level pin provides stability and reduces pin flex allowing for maximum corner speed. The 3 stage pin design also provides a very long lasting tread life, perfect for those 60-minute long A-main events. The Blades have the best overall traction, corner speed, and tread life of all of our tires and work best on blue grove tracks with high traction and high wear.
